Ohio's Top Insurance Fraud and Enforcement Cases for 2014

 

During the calendar year, the Department processed 7,173 allegations of agent misconduct and insurance fraud, initiated 1,709 investigations, identified 713 civil and criminal violations of Ohio insurance law, took administrative action against 460 agents and agencies, and referred 66 individuals for prosecution.
