The insurance industry lost a titan recently with the passing of legendary educator and trainor, John Eubank, CPCU, ARM. John affected so money people in the industry, we can’t even begin to count the number of insurance professionals that have been affected by John’s legacy.

John was a pioneer and leader in insurance and risk management education for the past 30 years. He presented literally thousands of seminars and webinars across the country. He was one of the premier insurance educators and writers in this country. Thousands of insurance professionals are better educated because of John. I put myself in this category. John made you learn, but you realized that it was fun learning.

I personally will greatly miss John. I first met him when I started working for the CIB in 1995 and he has presented seminars for the CIB every year since then. He was one of the premier insurance coverage experts in the country. His seminars were always well attended. I guess you could say he almost has a cult following. Attendees always expressed how much information they received from John's seminars. His presentation style was unsurpassed.

Our industry lost an icon and many of us also lost a good friend. John's legacy will live on for a long time. Farewell, old friend.
