The Greater Cincinnati Insurance Board offers a series of  online training courses in the following areas.

Work and Learn Training Program

The Work and Learn Training Program is designed as a way for an agency or company to evaluate the training needs of their staff and complete this training through online and classroom educational sources. It does the following:   

  • Establishes an overall training plan for the insurance agency or company
  • Evaluates the training needs of individual employees
  • Identifies these training needs,
  • Sets up a training track for the employee
  • Tracks the process of the employee
  • Conducts classes and seminars to fulfill the training track for each individual                   

Listed below are forms that members can use in the evaluation and training process.


1.      Master Agency Training Plan Worksheet. This form helps an agency or company establish a training track for various type of employee jobs.


2.      Training Needs Survey Worksheets - There are three forms that help identify the training needs of  each individual in the agency.

                  Commercial Lines  

Individual Training Program Checklist
. This form outlines the courses the employee needs to complete to become more proficient in their job. One of these is filled out for each employee.
