Final Exam – Self Study Courses
Final
exams must be Monitored by a Disinterested
Third Party. The monitor can be
any impartial person who is not concerned with the result of the
examination or
the success of the student. The monitor cannot be related (by family)
to the
student. (Examples are: Teachers, Librarians, Church Leaders,
Neighbors, etc.).
Exemptions to the CE requirement
Newly
licensed
individuals begins the following 1/1, any courses taken before that
time will
not be credited for the 1st CE compliance period.
Individuals
who
are retired or no longer active but must maintain their license to
receive
renewal commissions and have applied to the department of insurance for
a
limited license.
Non
resident
agents if their state has CE requirements and a reciprocal agreement
with
Corporations,
Partnerships, and LLC's who hold licenses.
